I hear you !
There are a ton of resources freely available online. Sebastian Kampf has an excellent tutorial series on how to get started with Stable Diffusion, while the blog on Stable Diffusion Art offers an in-depth explanation about how it works.
However, it might be challenging to figure everything out by yourself. Some artists find the installation guide too complicated to set up, a few others manage to get started but lack the conceptual understanding of how it works, while the rest find themselves in an ethical conflict holding them back.
The purpose of this workshop is to provide you a comprehensive guided experience of using Generative AI. By the end of the workshop, you will find yourself comfortable using Stable Diffusion and any AI tool of your choice. And we will also have an open discussion about the ethical implications surrounding the subject.
Not really.
In this workshop, we will use Stable Diffusion v1.5 and its derivative custom models.
Stable Diffusion XL, which is the latest official version, requires extremely powerful hardware. Also, it is a fine-tuned model, which makes it easier to work with, but not suitable for our purpose of understanding how to work with detailed prompts.
However, after this workshop, you will find it easy to work with any AI tool, including Stable Diffusion XL.
Unfortunately not.
Training an AI model is a complex topic which deserves a separate workshop of its own.
However, you can use the same tool to train your own models on your own.
Good question…with no easy answers.
Let’s have an open discussion about this in the workshop itself.
